Rev. Dr. Charles Nabors
Rev. Dr. Charles Nabors was born and raised in Laurinburg NC. At a young age, he felt the calling to serve his church and he began teaching Sunday school. At the age of 17, he became
superintendent of Sunday school. Dr. Nabors loves preaching and teaching the Word of God. He started preaching in 2000 and has been in ministry for 23 years. He graduated from Richmond Community
College in 2008 with an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education and from Tri-County Bible College with a Bachelor of Theology. He graduated from UNC- Pembroke with a Bachelor of Art in Psychology in 2011 and a Masters in School Counseling in 2013. He also received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theology from Tri-County Bible College in 2013. Dr. Nabors is the Pastor of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Taylortown, NC for 18 years. He is also a school counselor with Scotland County Schools. Dr. Nabors has served in various roles in the Pee Dee Baptist Association, including Moderator, 1st Vice Moderator, Moderator at Large and Ordination Academy Instructor. He is also very active with his school and serves as Advisor of a mentor program for at-risk students known as The Bow Tie Club Dr. Nabors is married to Angela Nabors and they have a son, daughter, and two grandchildren together. In the pulpit and out of the pulpit, he enthusiastically shares the word and stresses the importance of having a personal relationship with God and having a growth mindset.
